Community standards of behavior are intended to preserve and protect the University’s educational mission of teaching, research, and public service. The goal of these standards is to promote every student’s academic achievement and to help all students become ethical and informed leaders with strong character and integrity, who are able to understand the consequences of their behavior for themselves and others. At their core, these rules emphasize education, personal growth and fairness. To that end, these rules do not emphasize an adversarial model.
